LITTLE WARRIOR FAIRY TALE: Jase Garland – 12-Year-Old Battling Cancer Signs Honorary Contract With Kansas City Chiefs And Scores Inspiring Touchdown 🙏
📍Kansas City, Missouri – Last Saturday night, it wasn’t Patrick Mahomes or Travis Kelce who set the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice field ablaze, but Jase Garland, a 12-year-old boy battling bone cancer, as part of the Make-A-Wish program.
With a bright eye and an unyielding spirit, Jase:
Signed an honorary contract with his dream team
Held a private press conference like a true NFL star
Leaded the starting lineup onto the field
And finally, scored an emotional touchdown that brought the team and fans to tears.

✍️ A Contract with Heart
In a small but solemn ceremony at the practice field, GM Brett Veach gave Jase a special contract. He received a red “Garland” jersey and the number 12 — a symbol of his age and unyielding spirit.
Patrick Mahomes told Jase when handing the ball over:
“Today, you are QB1. And I am proud to be your teammate.”
🏃♂️ Touchdowns don’t require tactics, just heart
With the support of the Chiefs’ main offense, Jase ran down the field with the ball. The defenders pretended to be “fooled” in a humorous and grand way, and when Jase touched the ball into the end zone, the whole team rushed forward to celebrate as if they had just won the AFC Championship.
Travis Kelce lifted Jase high into the air, the whole team chanted:
“MVP! MVP!”

🎤 Private Press Conference – Where Jase Became a Star
In the post-game press conference, Jase sat in front of the microphone, confident as an NFL veteran. He shared:
🗣 “I fought every day, and today was the ultimate reward.”
🗣 “If Andy Reid needs more players for the team next season, I’ll be ready!” (laughs)
🗣 “I wanted to score another touchdown… but they wouldn’t let me celebrate with pizza.” (laughs)
💖 Football is more than a game – it’s a miracle
Jase Garland’s story is not just a dream come true, but also an inspiration to millions of people who fight every day.
The Chiefs gave me not just a great day, but an unforgettable memory – and showed us all that our hearts are bigger than any stadium.
