Josh Allen and the Starved Dog: A Friendship Without Words
On a cold winter afternoon in Buffalo, as snow blanketed the practice field, Josh Allen was driving home from a long practice. But that day, it wasn’t a fan or a call from his coach that made him stop.

It was a small, skinny dog, shivering by a dumpster behind a rundown store. Its eyes were red and dirty, and it had clearly been starved for days.

Hope is now healthy, her fur is shiny, her eyes are no longer sad. She often appears at charity events with Josh, especially programs to support abandoned animals in Buffalo.

In a recent interview, when asked what the biggest win of his career was, Josh didn’t mention the playoffs, didn’t mention the million-dollar contract.

He just smiled and said:
